The Food Purveyor: Showcasing the Region's Producers at Major Events

Are you keen to get your produce out to a wider audience? Do you want to an affordable way to engage directly with customers? Are you working to find your place in the market?

These are a few of the challenges for Agribusinesses across the region that Nicole Newman from The Food Purveyor has been tackling head on.

For several years, The Food Purveyor has organised Farmers' Market activations for the Powercor Country Festival at the MCG. Participation in the event has grown to 50 stallholders and over 20,000 customers in 2018.

The impact to many of these small producers is the opportunity to showcase their produce on a large scale to a fantastic cross-section of the population.

Remembering that for many of them it is their first time showcasing their range. The Food Purveyor is a critical partner to the success of these events.

In recognition of the huge benefit of these events for our producers, The Food Purveyor has expanded the 2019 events calendar offering to include the 2018 Geelong Cats Christmas Spectacular, Festival of Sails, all the Geelong Cats' AFLW games and a selection of Cats and Western Bulldogs AFL games.

Expressions of Interest are now open to participate in these events.

Never done a farmers' market stall before and wondering where to begin? These are a fantastic springboard, where you can be sure of an audience, no fee for the majority of the events and a great collaborative atmosphere. These markets are a great testing ground to launch your brand onto the market.
