Our Business Events Great Ocean Road Program is in high demand and is evolving to an industry lead approach. Through this new partnership we have been able to secure:
The International Conference on Equine Exercise Physiology (ICEEP) will be in Lorne from 12-16 November. This conference was secured when the Surf Coast and Lorne hosted the conference organisers in 2015. Council worked with local businesses to demonstrate the Surf Coast region's ability to host a major international conference. For further information on ICEEP, see http://www.iceep.org/
a Chinese School Group Tour program which will see 120 chinese primary school students visit the Surf Coast twice a year in February and August for five nights.
The International Surfing Medicine Conference: secured for the first time in the southern hemisphere in Torquay from 10-13 April 2019 in Torquay. http://www.surfingmed.com/
We're also working on a exhibition promoting the Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road at AIME next year, a large conference expo in Melbourne in February 2019. Stay tuned.
