Surf Coast Shire Energy Service Provider Program

Does your business provide products or services to residents or businesses to help reduce their energy consumption or investigate on-site generation? Then you need to come and hear about Council’s new energy program.

Council is committed to becoming a state leader in the uptake of renewable energy and aims to drive the use of renewables to achieve 25% renewable energy consumption in our shire by 2020. Council’s Renewable Energy Task Force is developing a program to empower residents and businesses to take action to reduce their energy consumption and investigate the suitability of on-site renewable energy generation.

The program will be delivered through a website that will assist our community to identify what actions to take, who can help them and how to fund it. The program website will direct businesses and residents to customised search lists on Localised where they can easily seek out and engage with the provider best suited to their needs.

We want to make sure as many of our local suppliers are registered and able to support our community transition to a more renewable future, so will be holding an on-boarding event to prepare for the Launch.
