Our Vision: By 2040 the hinterland is a renowned visitor destination and key sector in the Surf Coast economy.
Have your say on Council’s draft Hinterland Futures Strategy designed to activate and vitalise the rural hinterland areas of the Shire.
Council has prepared a draft Hinterland Strategy with a vision, five key objectives and 38 priority actions to provide clear strategic direction for the rural areas of the Shire that respects the Shire’s environment and scenic landscapes. Feedback received will inform any changes required prior to adoption of a final strategy later in 2018.
The draft Strategy is available for viewing on the Surf Coast Shire Council website: www.surfcoast.vic.gov.au/hinterlandfutures.
