Many Surf Coast businesses have already been affected by Ransomware.
Instead of spend an eternity reading information, the Surf Coast Shire along with Deakin and Base Legal are running an event to help you understand what is critical and how can you go about making both your business and family safer from hackers.
You know what's on your computer and can control physical access to it, but do you know what's actually installed and running on those devices.......?
Antivirus, Intrusion Detection, Intrusion Prevention, and other security tools are absolutely necessary for a truly secure network, but blind reliance on them after installation is a very dangerous thing.
