Did you know, a $2,000 or $6,000 grant (covering 50% of the cost of an energy assessment) is available to help businesses carry out an energy assessment?
Sustainability Victoria’s 'Boosting Productivity' energy assessment grants application process has been simplified to help small and medium sized business’s assessment journey flow more smoothly.
They have introduced a new two-page registration form to kick-start the process and confirm eligibility to proceed to the next stage.
Once the assessment has been completed, there is a $3000 implementation bonus to put in place energy improvements.
As the grants are non-competitive, businesses will have access to a Business Productivity adviser to guide them through the entire process following submission of the registration form. Grants are available to businesses with less than 200 full time employees, spending over $20,000 a year on energy bills. If you are running an event for local businesses, a Boosting Productivity adviser is available to present on the Energy Assessment Grants. Contact us to discuss availability on 1300 363 744 or email grants.enquiries@sustainability.vic.gov.au. Businesses can download an application and find out more about the grants at sustainability.vic.gov.au.
