Chinese Delegation invest time in surf Coast

In April, Surf Coast Mayor, Cr Brian McKiterick, hosted a Chinese delegation in Torquay.

Representatives from the Global CEO Fortune Club and Anhui Province joined us at the RACV Torquay Resort. It was great to welcome the international guests to the start of the Great Ocean Road.

"I enjoyed highlighting how great the Surf Coast Shire is – from our spectacular coast to our significant agricultural areas. I also spoke of the importance of the Great Ocean Road and the tourism industry, particularly Chinese visitors who want to experience our region," Cr McKiterick said.

Regional Development Victoria assisted in coordinating the event as did other organisations across the G21 region. The representatives left our region very impressed.
